Students receive academic essentials including uniforms, books, stationery, and learning materials. We also provide transition support for Grade 7, Form 4, and Grade 12 students moving to the next level of their education, along with mentorship and guidance programs.
While Zambia has made public education free since 2021, many children still face hidden challenges such as lack of uniforms, boarding necessities, examination preparation materials, transportation costs, and inability to afford books and stationery. These hidden costs often prevent talented students from continuing their education.
Students are selected based on their academic performance in Grade 7, Form 4, and Grade 12 examinations. We focus on students who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability but come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Selection also considers the student's commitment to their education and their family's economic situation.
